West ZooOpolis with Marco Minnemannis an ambitious new project with the über-talented German drummer known for his breathtaking “interdependent ostinati” and heavy polyrhythmic grooves. Four independent composers will each write and record music around an extraordinary 52-minute drum solo called Normalizer 2. Mike Keneally. Alex Machacek, Mario Brinkman, John and Marco will each contribute their own unique compositional approach. John's production team includes Kevin Freeby on bass and some special guests including Chris "Sub-D" Taylor. Look for the group release in late 2008. It's an Animal!
